NATA Member Login FAQ

If you are unable to login to the members-only section of the NATA Web site, here are some suggestions that may help resolve this matter.

If you get this message:

"Login error.  We're sorry -- we're unable to log you in with that member number and password combination.  Please click here to try again."

Possible reasons you are getting this message:

Incorrect login and/or password. Make sure you have typed your login information correctly.  Your member ID is your member number ONLY.  Do not use initials in this field.  Secondly, unless you have changed your password, your member password is your member number plus the initials of your first and last name.  If you have changed your password and forgotten it, please email us at membership@nata.org or call 800.879.6282 and ask for the membership department to assist you with a password issue.

Your payment hasn’t been posted.  If you have recently made a payment for your dues, it is possible that your payment has not been posted to our member database.  This process can take a few days.  Please e-mail us at membership@nata.org or call 800.879.6282 and ask for the membership department to determine your account standing.

If you get any other message (such as "Page cannot be displayed" errors) while attempting to login, please e-mail us at webmaster@nata.org or call 800.879.6282 and ask for Information Technology. Additionally, we've provided more suggestions below.

There are several things you can try yourself, most of which involve adjusting your internet browser settings. However, be cautious as to what settings you change on your browser.  If you are not experienced at making changes to any of your computer’s settings, we advise you to contact your technical support.  The NATA bears no responsibility for the results that may occur if you change settings on your computer.

As more solutions develop, we will be adding them to this page as suggestions only.

We don't claim to know everything about the different browsers that are available.  Further, because of Microsoft updates, it’s increasingly hard to test older versions of Internet Explorer.  So these suggestions are based on trouble-shooting techniques that have proven successful as we have helped our members resolve login issues in the past.

Additionally, there is an increasing population out there running browsers other than Internet Explorer -- 25% or so, depending on whose estimate you look at.

These programs can alter the results of any settings in your current browser.  These programs can also affect network proxies, firewalls, etc.

Try another browser, such as Mozilla Firefox, and see if that makes a difference.

Firefox is an excellent free web browser that has eliminated login-related problems for some users.  The default settings on that should work fine, and that should get you around anything that's Internet Explorer-setting related. As a bonus, the same link works for Windows and Mac users alike.
